2. How do I know which store from the website list has the style which I want to try?

The best way for us to advise you is as follows. Make a list of styles you love then make a shortlist of the stores near you. Please call them to check if they have the styles that you love. It’s also advisable while you are on the phone to have your preferred appointment days at hand so you can make an appointment at the same time. If you are finding that there are gowns that you still love and cannot find anywhere please contact info@henryroth.com.au and one of our well versed experts would be happy to provide you with information of who may have the styles you are looking for.

3. I’ve called the stores but no one seems to have my Henry Roth gown?

Its possible that the gown you have fallen in love with is not available at any of your nearest authorised store. As a result please contact sarah@henryroth.com.au as we do have a loan gown system with key retailers. Once you have emailed Sarah with style names and stores closest to you that you have contacted we then will then verify that a loan dress is available and who would be able to assist. We will put you in touch with the retailer and arrange for the gown to be shipped for your specific try on and viewing. Henry Roth stores are very fair with the freight costs associated with a loan gown and sometimes will charge a small fee others will charge a fee that is refundable against the cost of your dress if you try the dress and decide to order it. Please check with the store as to their specific policy.

8. Are Henry Roth gowns available to purchase online?

No! The reason is that we believe that wedding dresses are all about personal professional and individualised service. We have chosen our retailers and have met them individually and work with them on a daily basis so that together as a team we can provide you with the best service. This is reassuring at a time that so much has to be planned by you, your bridal party and your family.

9. How long does it take from the time that I order my dress for it to be delivered in store?

Bridal gowns can take at times from 6-8 months and bridesmaids take a minimum of 12 weeks to order, veils from 2 to 4 weeks (depending on if stock is available in the studio).

10. I need my dress and or accessories in a rush, can you do that for me?

Each retailer has a detailed delivery schedule providing accurate information on twice monthly cut off dates and ordering and delivery dates in store.

11. Are rush deliveries free or do they cost more?

Rush Delivery is an Additional cost and simply covers the cost of express Fedex service that we use. It does not include any additional fees for cutting or changes to production times.

12. When is the best time for me to order a Henry Roth wedding dress and why?

We recommend a great time to purchase your dress is 12-14 months out if you have that timeframe. This allows for plenty of time for the gown to come in, to check the dress with your retailer, to make sure that everything is ready before alterations and it gives you a good space of time to work out your colour schemes, florist, cake, bridesmaids, mother of the bride and groom, what you will have on your menu and so much more.

13. When is the best time for me to order a Henry Roth wedding dress and why?

We know it is hard to understand these are the things you need to factor in timewise. Your wedding gown is pivotal in determining what your bridesmaids will wear, that leads to additional guidelines for mother of the bride and groom right down to what the groomsmen are wearing. If you think about it nothing can be ordered until the wedding dress is in place. Additionally, we advise that you allow a minimum 6-10 weeks from the wedding date to start the first fitting. The 12 months lead time allows for a buffer for gowns being delayed for reasons that include lace taking longer lead times to produce and of high demand, peak congestion in calendar period which include Western Christmas and New Year and Chinese new year which can sometimes have a knock on effect from December to the middle of February. Additionally, if the gown has any flaw that requires adjusting and re cutting again a buffer is there in a more comfortable way for us to work with the bride. The reason we have chosen a network of phenomenal retailers that have incredible experience is to work with each individual bride and bridal party to optimise and maximise how you look when you walk down the aisle. As a result, of course we will work with the time frame as possible and advise you as a bride or bridesmaid what is not possible.

14. What is your size range?

Our gowns are available in sizes 2-30 we pride ourselves in doing an excellent size range of bridal and bridesmaids dresses.

15. How will I know what my size is?

Very simply once you’ve decided on a Henry Roth wedding dress or bridesmaids dress. the store will take bust waist and hip measurement and will check against our standard size chart and determine the closest standard size from our chart that will be the best size for your figure.

16. Once the measurements are taken will my gown fit perfectly upon arrival in the store?

Every figure has different proportions and nuances so the measurements enable the store to get closest to your size however it is 100% standard for the wedding dress or bridesmaids dress to require adjustments including neckline, hemline or bodice. Some Henry Roth stores offer in store alterations service which is an additional cost for the gown and this is standard for made to size chart dresses. Additionally other stores may have seamstresses that they work with who they recommend to commence the alterations of your gown.

17. Are there any additional special things that can be done to my gown?

We try and keep things streamlined and uncomplicated as we are very budget efficient and want to provide the best quality gown at best possible prices to ensure our brides will rave about the fit, quality, style and feeling of the Henry Roth gown. Having said that any neckline can be customised into sweetheart neckline (called Kalea neckline), lengthen or shorten trains, additional buttons and Swarovski crystals, we also provide for customised cups in our gowns, all our gowns come with a standard B Cup but they are also available in C and D Cup fittings. For sleeves, or boleros or other creative design ideas we are able to supply additional fabric lace, appliqués and beading for the store’s seamstress or seamstress they recommend to implement those little changes. All customisations do attract an additional cost and your store will have the details.
